Audio Description
Audio Description (AD) is an additional commentary attached to a DVD, TV program or film.
Designed for the benefit of the visually impaired, Audio Description guides the listener through the visual elements of the program. From describing scenery to costumes to facial reactions and more, this dialogue happens during the natural pauses in the audio. There are over half a million Australians with vision impairment and this number grows significantly each year.
